The Delaware Department of Transportation reports that I-95 northbound will be closed between the Biden Welcome Center and Route 273 from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM Tuesday, January 4 through Thursday, January 7. The closure is necessary for the contractor to erect beams for the new Chapman Road Bridge over I-95. The closure point will be at the Route 896 interchange. See detour below.

Location: I-95 northbound from the Biden Welcome Center to Route 273 (Christiana Road)
Detour: Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 will take Exit 1/Route 896 (College Avenue) southbound, make a left on to Route 40 (Pulaski Highway) eastbound, take the Route 1 northbound exit, and then follow signs to I-95 northbound.
