The Maine Turnpike Authority reports that starting Sunday, September 15 there will be a series of overnight ramp closures in Kittery for milling operations. All closures are on southbound ramps except for Thursday. The closures are scheduled from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM as follows:
Sunday night, September 15
Exit 2 southbound off ramp
Exit 2 southbound on ramp from route 1 (Ramp H)
Exit 2 southbound on ramp from route 236 (Ramp G)
Monday night, September 16
Exit 2 southbound on ramp from route 1 (Ramp H)
Exit 2 southbound on ramp from route 236 (Ramp G)
Tuesday night, September 17
Exit 2 southbound on ramp from route 1 (Ramp H)
Exit 2 southbound on ramp from 236 (Ramp G)
Wednesday night, September 18
Exit 2 southbound off ramp to route 236 (Ramp D)
Exit 2 southbound on ramp from route 236 (Ramp C)
Thursday night, September 19
Exit 2 northbound departing ramp (Ramp E)
All work is weather dependent. Variable message boards on the turnpike and local roads will be updated if needed. The contractor anticipates working on these ramps for the next several weeks. Be prepared to see more overnight closures.
