The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) reports that they have begun work on the Route 100 / I-95 Bridge over I-95 as part of a bridge replacement project. The project location is the Exit 157 interchange bridge carrying Routes 100 and 11 over I-95.
During construction, traffic on Routes 100 and 11 will be reduced to alternating one-way traffic during the day, with flaggers directing motorists.
Drivers on I-95 should also expect lane shifts and closures on I-95 southbound and northbound.
This project is expected to be completed by Fall 2028.
