Ramp, Lane Closures for I-95 Paving Work in Delaware October 31 Thru November 3

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists starting Monday, October 31st through Thursday, November 10th, crews will be repaving I-95 through the Route 896 interchange, including on and off ramps, and through the toll plaza. All lane closures will be from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Specific closures include:

Monday, October 31st the ramp from Northbound Route 896 onto Northbound I-95 will be closed.
Tuesday, November 1st the ramp from Southbound I-95 onto Rt 896 Northbound will be closed.
Wednesday, November 2nd the Southbound High Speed EZ-Pass lanes will be closed.
Thursday, November 3rd the Northbound High Speed EZ-Pass lanes will be closed.

No work will be done on Friday, November 4th or Saturday, November 5th.

In addition to the closures listed above I-95 travel lanes will be restricted. A single lane closures will be closed at 7:00 pm, two lanes closed at 8:00 pm and up to three lanes closed at 10:00 pm with all lanes reopening by 6:00 am the following morning.

This work is weather permitting. Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays moving through the area.
