The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) installations are planned next week on I-95 through the ongoing permanent reconstruction project at the Cottman Avenue Interchange in Northeast Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, a right lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Betsy Ross Bridge and Academy Road interchanges.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
