The Maine Turnpike Authority reports the following I-95 construction updates for the period of Sunday, June 21 through Saturday, June 27, 2026. These updates give basic details on planned road work. Lane closure times might shift because of bad weather or other surprises.
Weekly and Daily Road Work
- Mile 0-109 (Kittery to Augusta):
June 22-25.
Lanes in both directions will close and open again from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM for painting lines. Drive carefully. - Kittery Visitor Center (Kittery):

Northbound ramps to the rest area close from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM for fixing and paving the road. - Mile 3-7 (Kittery to York):
June 21-26.
Lanes in both directions close from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM for painting and cleaning a bridge. Speed limit drops to 60 mph. - Mile 3-12 (Kittery to York):
June 25-26.
Lanes in both directions close from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM to set up and take down signs. Speed limit drops to 60 mph. - Mile 26-30 (Kennebunk to Arundel):
June 21-25.
Lanes in both directions close from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM for paving and fixing cracks. Speed limit drops to 50 mph. - Kennebunk River Bridge (Kennebunk to Arundel):
June 22.
The right lane in both directions closes from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM for checking the bridge. Speed limit drops to 60 mph. - Exit 32 southbound ramp (Biddeford):
June 24.
The ramp closes from 9:00 PM Wednesday to 5:00 AM Thursday for fixing guardrails. Use another way out. - Mile 34-38 (Saco):

The shoulder in both directions closes from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for bridge, guardrail, and slope work. Drive carefully. - Exit 44 Toll (Scarborough):
June 23.
The southbound toll lane closes from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM for repairs. Speed limit drops to 45 mph. Drive carefully. - Mile 44-47 (Scarborough):
June 22-23.
Lanes in both directions close from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM for bridge checks. The northbound toll lane also closes for maintenance. Watch for posted speed limits. Drive carefully. - Falmouth spur (Falmouth):
June 23-25.
Lanes in both directions close from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM for bridge work. Drive carefully. - Mile 52 (Falmouth):
June 24.
Lanes in both directions close from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM for toll lane repairs. Watch for posted speed limits. Drive carefully. - Mile 54-60 (Falmouth to Gray):

Northbound lanes close from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM for grinding the road surface. Speed limit drops to 50 mph. - Gray Service Plaza (Gray):
June 21-22.
The plaza closes from 8:00 PM Sunday to 5:00 AM Monday for road grinding. Plan ahead. - Mile 68-75 (New Gloucester to Auburn):
June 21-26.
Lanes in both directions close from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM for fixing joints in the road. Speed limit drops to 60 mph. - Mile 65-67 (Gray):

Northbound lanes close from 4:00 AM to 3:00 PM for checking overhead signs. Speed limit drops to 60 mph. - Mile 70.7-67 (New Gloucester):

Southbound lanes close from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM for fixing signs and toll equipment. Speed limit drops to 60 mph. - Mile 78-79.8, Androscoggin River Bridge (Auburn to Lewiston):

Lanes in both directions stay closed for bridge work. Speed limit drops to 60 mph. - Mile 85-86 (Sabattus):
June 25.
The shoulder in both directions closes from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM for checks. Speed limit drops to 60 mph. - Mile 91 (Litchfield):
June 15 to September 1.
The shoulder in both directions stays closed with barriers for the summer. Drive carefully.
