The Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA) reports the following Construction Advisories for upcoming I-95 construction projects this week. Lane closure plans might change depending on weather or unexpected events.
For the week of March 15, 2026:
Kittery (mile marker 0-4):
Tuesday, March 17 – Wednesday March 18
Northbound lane closure 6:30 AM-4:00 PM for speed limit sign replacement and guardrail repair.
Speed reduced to 60 MPH.
Wells (mile marker 15-19):
Thursday, March 19
Northbound right lane closure 6:30 AM-4:00 PM for guardrail repairs.
Speed reduced to 60 MPH.
Kennebunk-Biddeford (mile marker 27-31):
Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20
Northbound right lane closure 7:00 AM-5:00 PM for tree grinding and chipping.
Speed reduced to 60 MPH.
Saco River Bridge (mile marker 33-34):
Thursday, March 19 – Friday, March 20
Southbound lane closure 6:00 AM-6:00 PM for concrete placement.
Speed reduced to 60 MPH.
Scarborough (mile marker 41-42):
Sunday, March 15 – Thursday, March 19
Northbound/southbound lane closures 9:00 PM-6:00 AM for haunch removal at Beech Ridge Rd Bridge and Scarborough interchange.
Speed reduced to 60 MPH.
