Construction Lane Closures on I-95 in Southern Florida This Week

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following lane closures on I-95 in Broward County thru June 3, 2016:

I-95 from the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami-Dade County to Broward Boulevard in Broward County

  • Up to three northbound lanes of I-95 from the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami-Dade County to Sunrise Boulevard in Broward County will be closed Tuesday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. and from 11 p.m. Entrance and exit ramps will be closed as needed in the work zone. Detours will be clearly marked and electronic signs will advise drivers in advance.
  • Up to three southbound lanes of I-95 from Sunrise Boulevard in Broward County to the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami-Dade County will be closed Tuesday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. At least two lanes will remain open at all times. Entrance and exit ramps will be closed as needed in the work zone. Detours will be clearly marked and electronic signs will advise drivers in advance.
  • Northbound and southbound express lanes will be closed as needed Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. for plastic pole repair. Driver should use the non-tolled general use lanes.

I-95 Interchange from Hillsboro Boulevard to SW 10th Street

  • The I-95 southbound exit ramp to SW 10th Street will be fully closed Tuesday through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists can detour via Hillsboro Boulevard.
  • The outside lanes of I-95 southbound between Hillsboro Boulevard and SW 10th Street will be closed Tuesday through Friday with the first lane closing at 9 p.m., the second lane closing at 10 p.m. and the third lane, if necessary, closing at 12:30 a.m. until 5 a.m.
  • Two westbound lanes of SW 10th Street at I-95 will be closed Tuesday through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Florida I-95 Lane Closures in Broward County Thru April 15

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following lane and ramp closures on Interstate 95 in Broward County thru April 15, 2016:

I-95 from the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami-Dade County to Broward Boulevard in Broward County

  • Up to three southbound lanes of I-95 between Griffin Road and Hallandale Beach Boulevard will be closed thru Saturday, April 9 for plastic pole installation. At least two lanes will remain open at all times.
  • On Sunday, April 10, new toll pricing signs located on northbound I-95 will start posting “$0.00” from Ives Dairy Road to I-595, signaling the next stage of toll testing along this corridor. Tolls on 95 Express are collected electronically so toll-paying users of the express lanes must properly have a SunPass® account and affix a SunPass® transponder to their windshield. SunPass® customers will begin to see a “$0.00” charge for this area on their statements. Please note that during this testing period, funds will not be deducted from your SunPass® account.

I-95 from south of Broward Boulevard to north of Commercial Boulevard

  • One outside lane in each direction of I-95 at the NW 19th Street overpass will be closed thru Friday between 10:30 p.m. and 5 a.m.
  • One lane of the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Commercial Boulevard will be closed thru Friday between 10:30 p.m. and 5 a.m.

I-95 Interchange from Hillsboro Boulevard to SW 10th Street

  • The I-95 southbound exit ramp to SW 10th Street will be fully closed thru Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists can detour via Hillsboro Boulevard.
  • The outside lanes of I-95 southbound between Hillsboro Boulevard and SW 10th Street will be closed thru Friday with the first lane closing at 9 p.m., the second lane closing at 10 p.m. and the third lane, if necessary, closing at 12:30 a.m. until 5 a.m.
  • Two westbound lanes of SW 10th Street at I-95 will be closed thru Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
  • The sidewalk on the north side of SW 10th Street between SW 12th Avenue and SW Natura Boulevard is closed thru August 2016. Signs are in place to direct pedestrians to the south sidewalk.

– Up to three northbound lanes of I-95 from the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami-Dade County to Sunrise Boulevard in Broward County will be closed Sunday through Thursday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Entrance and exit ramps will be closed as needed in the work zone between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Detours will be clearly marked and electronic signs will advise drivers in advance.

– Up to three southbound lanes of I-95 from Sunrise Boulevard in Broward County to the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami-Dade County will be closed Sunday through Thursday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. At least two lanes will remain open at all times. Entrance and exit ramps will be closed as needed in the work zone between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Detours will be clearly marked and electronic signs will advise drivers in advance.

– Two inside lanes of I-95 northbound between Hollywood Boulevard and I-595 will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday, January 8 until 1 p.m. Saturday, January 9 for paving. At least three lanes will remain open at all times.

– One lane in each direction of Hallandale Beach Boulevard at I-95 will be closed as needed Monday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for sign installation. At least two lanes will remain open in each direction.

– One lane in each direction of Hollywood Boulevard at I-95 will be closed Monday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for sign installation. At least two lanes will remain open in each direction.

– One lane in each direction of Stirling Road at I-95 will be closed Monday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for sign installation. At least two lanes will remain open in each direction.

– The I-95 southbound exit ramp to SW 10th Street will be fully closed Sunday through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists can detour via Hillsboro Boulevard.

– The outside lanes of I-95 southbound between Hillsboro Boulevard and SW 10th Street will be closed Sunday through Friday with the first lane closing at 9 p.m., the second lane closing at 10 p.m. and the third lane, if necessary, closing at 12:30 a.m. until 5 a.m.

– Two westbound lanes of SW 10th Street at I-95 will be closed Sunday through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
