The Rhode Island Department of Transportation reports the following travel advisories for I-95 from Saturday, September 17 thru Friday, September 23, 2016.
Weekend Lane Closures
- Warwick: I-95 South, from Exit 15 (Jefferson Blvd.) to Exit 12 (Rte. 113), left lane and shoulder closures for drainage work, Saturday from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Temporary Exit Closures
- Warwick: I-95 North at Exit 15 (Jefferson Blvd.), exit closed for striping, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Follow signed detour.
Overnight Lane Closures
- Cranston: I-95 North, from Exit 15 (Jefferson Blvd.) to the Elmwood Ave. overpass, and I-95 South, from Exit 17 (Rte. 1) to Exit 15 (Jefferson Blvd.), lane closures possible for a bridge inspection, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. the following day.
- Cranston/Providence: I-95 North at Exit 16 (Rte. 10), watch for our crews in a moving operation for striping, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
- Cranston/Warwick: I-95 North and South, from Exit 16 (Rte. 10) to Exit 14 (Rte. 37), alternating two left lane and two right lane and shoulder closures for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
- Cranston/Warwick: I-95 North and South, from Exit 13 (Airport Connector) to Exit 16 (Rte. 10), alternating two left lane and two right lane and shoulder closures for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
- Hopkinton to Warwick: I-95 North and South and its ramps, from the Connecticut state line to I-295, expect alternating lane closures in a moving operation for striping, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
- Pawtucket: I-95 North and South, at the on- and off-ramps from Exit 25 (Smithfield Ave.) to Exit 27 (George St.), watch for our crews in a moving operation for highway lighting work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. the following day.
Weekday Closures
- Providence: I-95 North, from the Charles St. on-ramp to the Barbara Leonard Way Bridge, between Corliss St. and North Main St., right shoulder closed in a moving operation for survey work, Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
