The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that there will be overnight lane restrictions on I- 95 for overhead sign inspections. Single, double and triple lane closures and partial and full ramp closures will be necessary.
The tentative schedule of work:
Monday, November 28th Southbound I-95 just before Exit 5, a double left lane/partial exit ramp closure.
Tuesday, November 29th Southbound I-95 just before Exit 5, a triple right lane/partial exit ramp closure (I-95 Southbound to Exit 5)/ramp closure (Southbound I-495to Exit 5 Flyover Ramp.)
Wednesday, November 30th Southbound I-95 just past the I-295 split, a double right lane closure.
Thursday, December 1st Southbound I-95 just past the I-295 split, a single left lane closure.
No work on Friday or Saturday, December 2nd or 3rd.
Sunday, December 4th Northbound I-95 1 mile before the E-Z Pass only lane split, and ½ mile before the E-Z Pass Only lane split, a single left lane closure.
Monday, December 5th Northbound I-95 1 mile before the E-Z Pass only lane split and ½ mile before the E-Z Pass only lane split, a double right lane closure.
All lane closures will happen between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am.
All work is weather dependent. Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays moving through the area.
