Coastal Storm Bringing Winter Weather to I-95 Travelers Through Tuesday

A Nor’easter hugging the United State east coast will bring up to an inch of rain and up to 8 inches of snow through tomorrow. Winter weather advisories are in place for the region.

I-95 travelers from Virginia to Maine will see rain, ice and snow before the storm leave the area Tuesday night. Coastal flooding will linger from the Virginia Tidewater to southeast New England.

The storm will consist of rain and flooding from Virginia to New York, with freezing rain possible from Connecticut to Maine. Just a few miles inland will see ice and snow. I-95 motorists are encouraged to either delay their travel or be extremely careful while on the roads.
